Her Ability Co. exists to inspire, educate and lead aspiring female professionals with disabilities; guiding them towards a deeper understanding of who God has created them to be; helping them discover all that they are able to do, through Him - despite the limitations they face.

Having lived with a visual impairment for over 30 years now, I can’t say that I have always found it easy to stay strong in my walk with Jesus and to be honest, trusting without fear and doubt that there is a plan for my life has been a difficult road to travel.

My experiences of church, faith, family cultural beliefs and working to build a career alongside coming to terms with my disability haven’t always been positive.

And you are so welcome here.

First, what I want you to know is that if you have been doing life with a disability for a while now - I see you.

Whether you have recently received a diagnosis and are at the very start of this journey - I see you.

And whether the disability you live with is hidden or visible - I see you.

But more importantly - I want you to know that God sees you.

But today, I can speak boldly about the grace and love of God that has been with me through it all.

So whatever point of the journey you find yourself at, I want to encourage and remind you that you are known, you are seen and you are loved by The One who has the perfect plan - a plan to use the very thing that you might think makes you worthless - to shine light on what you have been created to do in this world.

And believe me - when you find out what this means for you, the things that you (and maybe others) once thought impossible and out of your reach, will help you place more focus on your ability and potential.
